IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ACCESS TO THE SCHOOL FOR ALL STUDENTS, VISITORS & PARENTS

The new school reception is currently still closed; however the Reynolds Lane school entrance is now open as normal.

Entrance is by the top gate and exit by the bottom gate.

Visitor parking is available in the top section of the car park; we ask parents and visitors to follow signs for the temporary school entrance.

Students are still asked to use the entrance on the footpath from St. John’s road.

Calling all ex-pupils of St Gregory's Catholic Comprehensive School - Old Gregorians
As we approach our 50th anniversary of the school it would be lovely to catch up with you all.
Do you have any old photographs you don't mind us copying or any tales to share? Where are you? What are you doing now? We would love to hear from you. We have 5 years left to plan our celebrations and want to find as many of you as possible to join us for our anniversary. Please contact Mr Nick Hunter or Mrs Janet Cooke (you may remember her as Miss Lithgow) at the school. Alternatively contact our Clerk, Mrs Lynn Birchard on ext 137 or E-Mail or Find us on Facebook

head I am proud of St.Gregory’s and its achievements.  Young people flourish spiritually, academically and socially in St.Gregory’s and I hope this website will show you why.

The school is a community of learners, and we are committed to giving each student the best opportunities to make the most of his or her potential.  Our community is founded on Christian values and school life is based on the dignity of the individual.

OFSTED

I am delighted to report some excellent news from OFSTED.  An Interim Assessment has been completed on the school and OFSTED are pleased with our sustained progress since the last inspection when we were judged “Good, with Outstanding Features”.  Consequently our next inspection will be in the summer term of 2013.

It is wonderful to have such positive affirmation from OFSTED that the school is doing so well.  We will now work upon reaching an “Outstanding” judgement next year.

Stephen Adamson
Headteacher

Are you interested in details about a private contract bus between Crowborough and the School??
Further to our meeting earlier in the year I am now able to write to you again with two firm propositions from two bus companies, namely STS and Arriva.  Both these bus companies are willing to run private contracts from Crowborough to school.  They would deal solely with the parents, billing them half-termly. For full details please click here to view the letter.
