STOP PRESS:   IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ACCESS TO THE SCHOOL FOR ALL STUDENTS, VISITORS & PARENTS

The new building work on our new front entrance has started.   This will mean that there is no entry via Reynolds Lane for :

  • parent cars
  • students or visitors or staff on foot.
  • It will also mean that there is no dedicated parking for visitors as the top part of the car park will now be used as the builders’ compound.

The current “out” gate will be locked open and it will be both an In and an Out gate for staff cars and most routine deliveries.   There will be very limited parking for visitors to the school.

Students (and staff and visitors arriving on foot) must enter the school site via the footpath from St John’s Road, which runs between the St Johns Sports Centre and TWBGS.   The gate by the Sports Centre will be locked open from 6.30am – 5.30pm.    There is a free car park at the top of Yew Tree Road.   We apologise for any inconvenience this will cause.

Calling all ex-pupils of St Gregory's Catholic Comprehensive School - Old Gregorians
As we approach our 50th anniversary of the school it would be lovely to catch up with you all.
Do you have any old photographs you don't mind us copying or any tales to share? Where are you? What are you doing now? We would love to hear from you. We have 5 years left to plan our celebrations and want to find as many of you as possible to join us for our anniversary. Please contact Mr Nick Hunter or Mrs Janet Cooke (you may remember her as Miss Lithgow) at the school. Alternatively contact our Clerk, Mrs Lynn Birchard on ext 137 or E-Mail or Find us on Facebook

head I am proud of St.Gregory’s and its achievements.  Young people flourish spiritually, academically and socially in St.Gregory’s and I hope this website will show you why.

The school is a community of learners, and we are committed to giving each student the best opportunities to make the most of his or her potential.  Our community is founded on Christian values and school life is based on the dignity of the individual.

Are you interested in details about a private contract bus between Crowborough and the School??
Further to our meeting earlier in the year I am now able to write to you again with two firm propositions from two bus companies, namely STS and Arriva.  Both these bus companies are willing to run private contracts from Crowborough to school.  They would deal solely with the parents, billing them half-termly. For full details please click here to view the letter

  • school specific skirt (from Simmonds only) will be compulsory for all girls in Years 7-11
