Cashless Catering Update
Our Cashless Catering system is now up and running and we are pleased that it has gone fairly smoothly. As is often the case there have been one or two glitches which we have worked out.
One area where the school has caused a problem for some students was the default daily spending limit.  This was set at £2.50 per day which has become clear was too low as many parents have called to change it. As a result we have reset the limit to £3.50.  This change only applies to students whose parents have not already contacted us to change the limit. You can, of course, still call the school to request a different limit if you feel that £3.50 is too high or low. Read the full letter here.

For all Past Parents and Past Students of St Gregory’s

As you may be aware, our Headteacher, Rosemary Olivier, is leaving St Gregory’s school at the end of this academic year.   Ms Olivier will be taking up a new post in September as Director of Education for the Portsmouth Diocese.

Ms Olivier has been Headteacher at this school since 1994 and her commitment and dedication to the students and the school community has been immeasurable.   We will all miss her, but wish her well in her new and exciting post.

We will be holding a Leaving Mass for Ms Olivier in our school Chapel on Wednesday 15th July at 7pm.   Bishop John Hine and Bishop Kieran Conry will be concelebrating the Mass and they will be joined by other Deanery priests and clergy from our Anglican churches.

Past parents and past students are very welcome to this Mass, but it is very important that you let us know that you are coming!  Please could you email your name and the number of seats you require to lruch@sgschool.org.uk.

As you may remember, car parking is not easy at the school.  Our tennis courts will be open for parking but there is also the Yew Tree Road public car park and street parking.

Yours sincerely

Mr A. Moffatt
Chair of Governors
