Geography Quality Mark Congratulations to the Geography department on receiving the KS3 Secondary Geography Quality Mark (SGQM) for recognition of excellence in teaching and learning. Mr Welch – Subject Leader of Geography said: “We are very proud to achieve this award. It is the result of much hard work from a talented and committed Geography team and a reflection/recognition of the positive achievements of the Geography students at St Gregory’s”. St Gregory’s is the first school to achieve the Geography Quality Mark Award in the Tonbridge/Tunbridge Wells area.

Carer’s First
Carer’s First came into school assemblies during January, to talk about Young Carers.  Young Carers are people under the age of 18 who help look after someone with a disability, including physical or mental illness, drug or alcohol addiction, HIV and AIDS. 
Carer’s First have arranged a ‘drop in’ session in school, for students who feel they would benefit from meeting other students in school who are carer’s.  The ‘drop in’ will be on a Wednesday lunchtime and on a fortnightly basis.

Drinks bottles
 Can we use empty 2L fizzy drinks bottles to make fencing? 
 Yes we can!   We need your empty 2L fizzy drinks bottles for our eco-garden. Please leave your washed 2L fizzy drinks bottles in the pink bucket outside the EPD workroom! Thank You!
