St.Gregory's is a Catholic Comprehensive School, founded in 1966, which caters for children of all abilities. St.Gregory's is a "high value" school (based on examination results, OFSTED reports and Diocesan inspections).

Carer’s First
Carer’s First came into school assemblies during January, to talk about Young Carers.  Young Carers are people under the age of 18 who help look after someone with a disability, including physical or mental illness, drug or alcohol addiction, HIV and AIDS. 
Carer’s First have arranged a ‘drop in’ session in school, for students who feel they would benefit from meeting other students in school who are carer’s.  The ‘drop in’ will be on a Wednesday lunchtime and on a fortnightly basis.

FREE School Rugby kit promotion UPDATE:
The deadline for collecting the Daily Mail Mastheads has been extended to the 12th February – please continue to bring these in to the collection box outside the EPD workroom – we still need quite a few more – if you do not read the Daily Mail perhaps friends/neighbours or relatives do and would be happy to let you have the mastheads? Thank You!

Drinks bottles
 Can we use empty 2L fizzy drinks bottles to make fencing? 
 Yes we can!   We need your empty 2L fizzy drinks bottles for our eco-garden. Please leave your washed 2L fizzy drinks bottles in the pink bucket outside the EPD workroom! Thank You!

FREE School Rugby kit promotion
 The school has registered for the Daily Mail's FREE School Rugby kit promotion. We need to collect Daily Mail and Mail On Sunday mastheads, i.e the newspaper title and date at the top of every front page of the Daily Mail or Mail on Sunday  until January 31st. You would be helping us to get a new Rugby Kit. We need a minimum of 1,000 mastheads for one team, but kit for large and small would be even better!
 Please send your 'mastheads' in via your child – the collection box is outside the EPD workroom. Thank you
