How to Apply for Sixth Form - September 2027 entry

Applications for entry into Sixth Form (September 2027 entry) will open on 2 November 2026. 

Please make use of the link below to submit an application to join our Sixth Form in September 2027. Applicants should select three courses, with no two courses in the same option block. Option blocks can be found on page 7 of the Sixth Form course guide below.

Applications for entry into Sixth Form for September 2026 (Sept 2027) will open on 2 November 2026.

Sixth Form Course Guide 

Please refer to the Sixth Form Course Guide below for full details about the application process, course choices and how to select your subject options. Students must enter three subject choices, plus a reserve - in preference order - 1 being first choice and 4 being the reserve. Students who wish to study four subjects should include this in their application.

16-19 Bursary

Students who are eligible for Pupil Premium, or who receive free school meals, should apply for the 16-19 Bursary. This allows students access to funding for textbooks, laptops, school clothes and educational trips, such as university visits. The Bursary can also be provided for a temporary change in financial circumstances. If you would like more information about the 16-19 Bursary, please contact Mrs Moynihan, Pastoral Manager on fmoynihan@sgschool.org.uk
