Alumni & Employers

Calling all Alumni!

Could you help share your experiences with the future generations of St Gregory’s students?

We are looking to develop a network of former students who could be involved in inspiring the next generations and guide them to make decisions about their futures. Could you join our alumni network and share your expertise and experiences of the world of work?

There are multiple ways of supporting your old school from speaking to the students in assemblies, linking up with students in a mentoring role or be involved in careers fairs or supporting work experience.

No matter what you currently do, be it in further education, apprenticeships or in work we would love to hear from you.

You can join on any of these for more information.

Keeping in touch – former St Gregory’s students

When you leave St Gregory’s we like to feel you are still very much a part of our Community. There may still be ways in which the school can continue to help you.

Perhaps you would like to come back and speak to St Gregory’s students about your career at an event or simply stay updated with school news.

Since 1966 thousands of young men and women have been educated at St Gregory’s and we always like to hear what our former students and staff are up to.

Stay a part of your school community through:

  • Sharing with us your news and successes.

  • Inspire our current students by coming in and talking about your studies, career, experiences and achievements.

  • Help St Gregory’s maintain and improve facilities by making a charitable donation to ensure the school continues to be outstanding.

The school past student network is called Old Gregorians. Join our group to receive updates about life at St Gregory’s. Post your contact details and stay in touch with the school and past St Gregory’s students. Old Gregorians will also keep you up-to-date with all their events.

A growing number of former students and staff keep in touch with each other via Facebook where you’ll find friends, news and information.

Our Values

Ambition Rooted firmly in Catholic teachings, we aim to nurture and guide our students to fulfil their God-given potential so they may achieve success.

Leadership We strive to be a community of servant leaders, where individuals gain a clear sense of self and purpose, knowing their values and using these to guide how they enrich the community in which they belong.

Integrity We teach our students to value honesty and have strong moral principles, using their discernment to govern their actions and take responsibility for their choices.

Vigour Inspired by the life of St Gregory, we empower our students to work with vigour, so they approach all activities and opportunities with effort, energy and enthusiasm.

Empathy We aim for our students to understand and value the feelings of others and for them to know they are loved and celebrated irrespective of their differences.
