Safeguarding/AEN and wellbeing support at St Gregory’s
Sometimes the pressures of school, with exam stress, anxiety, friendships, family circumstances can affect a child’s wellbeing and how a child behaves and acts at home and at school.
If you feel your child may need some support, please do not hesitate to contact the school and speak to your child’s Pastoral Manager.
St Gregory’s is working in partnership with Place2Be, which is managed by Kathryn Gilbert, the councillor at St Gregory's. Please contact her if you feel your child would benefit from counselling.
Parents and carers are also able to make a referral themselves for their child directly to School Health, for a range of support for physical and mental health, plus referrals to specialist services if needed. These include concerns around issues such as behaviour, bullying, bereavement, healthy eating and lifestyle, puberty and growing up, sleep, anxiety and stress. Please see the links below:
