Jane Burton is the Area Lead Chaplain who works across both St Gregory’s Catholic School and St Simon Stock Catholic School. The school is supported by the clergy from the Parishes in Tunbridge Wells Deanery. Jane works closely with our school’s Chaplaincy Team, a student body who support and enhance the work of the Chaplaincy team.

Our support of Charities

Catholic Social Teaching tells us that we must pay special attention to the needs of the poor and vulnerable in our world and also to work in solidarity with one another for the common good of all. With teaching at the heart of what we do, the school supports several different charities throughout the school year. Students take an active role in helping choose charities we donate to and in planning events to participate in. Every year, we support CAFOD as our main school charity and fundraise through Harvest and Lenten fast days as well as other events during the school year. Students are encouraged not just to give, but to understand the premise of Catholic Social Teaching and why we give to the charities we support.
