CAFOD Young Leaders
Recently our CAFOD Young Leaders took part in a second training day which they attended at St George's Cathedral in London.
The Cafod Young Leaders programme challenges students to become aspiring leaders by reflecting on their responsibility towards others and the planet. It helps deepen their understanding of global justice issues and empowers them to run social action projects to fundraise in school for CAFOD and other charities.
Here are some of the students comments:
"I really enjoyed yesterday for many reasons. I got the opportunity to listen to others' ideas, make friends with many new people and get a stronger understanding of CAFOD and their purpose."
"I found this an insightful experience. I got to meet a lot of new people and talk to them and improve my confidence. We also got to learn a great deal about CAFOD, their "whys" and their values."
