'Keep Britain Tidy's Young Litter Hero of the Year Awards'.
One of our students Danny, is amongst 20 young people aged from 10-18, who have been selected by Eco-schools, to form a new Eco-Committee, which will be the first ever National Eco-Committee in England.
These determined young people will support the Eco-Schools Team at Keep Britain Tidy as they try to ensure that all those in education have the opportunity to learn about environmental themes such as climate change, pollution and biodiversity loss.
Danny, who is very proud of his achievement, now appears on the Eco-Schools website. He is very excited about the year ahead being part of something that he feels is so important.
We wish Danny luck with the awards ceremony, taking place in Birmingham next month.
