  • Girls climb Mount Snowdon for Charity

    Tue 24 May 2022

Girls Climb Mount Snowdon for Hospice in the Weald.

On 21st May, four of our ex-students, Chrissy, Nancy, Gemma and Mia raised money for the local charity Hospice in the Weald, by climbing Mount Snowdon.

The average person takes up to 8 hours but it took them just over 5, so this was a great result. This proves that with determination and training (in their case very little), anyone can do it if you put your mind to it!

This charity is close to their hearts, and one in which does amazing work for patients with terminal illness and provides support to those around them.

So far, they have raised £1,390 and counting.

    In memory of Clare Gill.

  • Anti-racism day

    Tue 03 May 2022

On Friday 29th April we held an Anti-racism day. We had a visit from an external speaker to talk to Years 7 to 12 students about racism.

Students explored issues such as unconscious bias and the role of the media in perpetuating racist stereotypes.

The students were excellent ambassadors for St. Gregory's and contributed well to the sessions.

At St Gregory's we strongly reject any racist or discriminatory behaviour and urge anyone who has experienced this to talk to a member of staff.

Our Values

Ambition Rooted firmly in Catholic teachings, we aim to nurture and guide our students to fulfil their God-given potential so they may achieve success.

Leadership We strive to be a community of servant leaders, where individuals gain a clear sense of self and purpose, knowing their values and using these to guide how they enrich the community in which they belong.

Integrity We teach our students to value honesty and have strong moral principles, using their discernment to govern their actions and take responsibility for their choices.

Vigour Inspired by the life of St Gregory, we empower our students to work with vigour, so they approach all activities and opportunities with effort, energy and enthusiasm.

Empathy We aim for our students to understand and value the feelings of others and for them to know they are loved and celebrated irrespective of their differences.
